Z4 has flexible properties that allow laboratories to take control of their casting schedule. When using the rapid cast technique with Z4 it is not necessary to place a ring directly into the oven after the initial bench set. With Z4 you can place rings directly into a hot furnace after they have been sitting on the bench for hours or even days.
